The American Dream is under assault in Washington. We can’t allow Congress to continue to operate like it is and has. We need a new Congress and a new kind of leadership. Spending is reckless and out of control, the Constitution is a mere afterthought, and we are justifiably concerned about what kind of America we are passing on to our children and our grandchildren. A recent Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll shows 80 percent of Americans disapprove of the job Congress is doing. It’s no wonder.
First, it was the bailouts to big Wall Street firms and auto companies and special deals for unions.
Then it was the massive health care debacle where not only is the legislation wrong for America but the process of “buying” votes with special treatment for some states and some Senators would make our forefathers and previous generations of Americans wonder what is happening with our country.
The threat of Cap-and-Trade and other energy taxes continues to strain small businesses, which are the real job creators, and force even more jobs overseas when our fellow citizens are desperately seeking work here. A job is a family value and Washington needs to get out of the way of small businesses and let the power of free markets succeed.
We need fundamental change in Congress, not career politicians who let Congress change them. With 100 days left until the primary, I’ll be sending you one new idea each day until the election. I want to hear your ideas as well. This election cycle is critical. Together we can build a new Congress, led by a new generation of leaders, and reclaim the American Dream.

I think Trey Gowdy’s approach is right on the mark. We need fresh blood and one who experienced in prosecution with a record like his. Congress should be ashamed of themselves but who cares from their point. Taking large donations from corporations is now legal and they have now effectively created three classes: 1) The rich, 2) The politicians and 3) The Poor. Blank checks to Financial entities and destruction of companies like Lehman Brothers when to the benefit of GoldmanSachs and Bailouts(handouts to Bank of AMerica, Wells Fargo and Chase in the hundreds of Billions. It is actually more advantageous for a bank to foreclose than to work it out and we have the proof that backs this up!!!.
We need to call on Washington to Repent. They put their hand on a bible and swore to uphold the Constitution. The intentions of the founders are documented in the writings of their day. We are so far away from our heritage. We have an incredible heritage which God has blessed like no other country. We failed as the electorate to do
our job we have allowed Washington to become what it is. We are waking up and Lord willing we as a people will repent and turn from our own wicked ways then we the people shall be heard.
