“The 4th Congressional District wants a congressman who stands up to President Barack Obama and the liberals in Congress, not one who supports their agenda more than any other Republican member from South Carolina. If I am fortunate enough to represent this district, you will not see my name listed among the most liberal members of the South Carolina Delegation” Gowdy said.
“Congressman Inglis is increasingly out of touch with his constituents. His opposition to the Troop Surge, his support of the Wall Street bailout, his support of energy taxes, his support for the centerpiece of Obama Care – the individual mandate to purchase health insurance, and his propensity to label anyone who disagrees with him as “the hard right” is proven by these rankings. The message of principled conservatism can win again but it can’t be delivered by a Congressman who doesn’t believe in it,” Gowdy continued
